Xxxholic is worth a view for those who like distinctive visual styles and trippy/dreamlike qualities (a la Alice in Wonderland). I had not followed the series and did not find the characters or the plot or comedy very interesting (nor particularly bad) by themselves. But if you like animation, it does give you something interesting to look at. If you find the cover art intriguing, then give it a view.
