Marvelous visuals and a stirring score make it easy to forgive the film its deficiencies. Like the original, Legacy transports you to another world. Unlike most films with heavy CG, the Tron setting looks very substantial, with a strong material feel that gives the action sequences a sense of fatality and excitement. Jeff Bridges' natural style helps the viewer to make believe the world and the events are real, especially the various bits of narration called for (and reminiscent of Alec Guiness in Star Wars). Recommended to fans of sci-fi epics and to those who never tire of the Hero's Journey.
