The Lost Room lacks in magic and doesn't make up for that with anything else. There is no sense of mystery or wonder but rather randomness. The casting of Peter Krause and the reviews posted here made me hope for something that was well-done despite being low budget. I was hoping for something reminiscent of the X-Files or Lost. But, unfortunately, I found The Lost Room to be disappointing.
