Scott Pilgrim vs. The World is a fun, light-hearted comedy. I can see why it gets cult status. It is fun to watch (especially the effects), but disappointing relative to my expectations. Was hoping for something along the lines of Repo Man or John Dies At The End or even SLC Punk. Got the feeling this film would have worked better if it were Japanese. Scott Pilgrim could have used a bit of edge but give it a view anyways, as it is an enjoyable watch.
