If you are willing to turn off your brain before watching, then you may find Prometheus no worse than your average movie. It provides a few hours of mindless entertainment. While there is not much in the way of acting or plot, the film still has its bright spots. Visually, it is very imaginative and quite stunning. The audio is nicely done. There are a few memorable and intense scenes. While I wouldn't watch it again, it was fine for an evening's entertainment.
